During the storm last night, one of my trees was blown over and hit my neighbor's house. Do I need to file a claim on that?
If the tree was alive at the time of being blown over, no. Your neighbor's home insurance will have to pay for repair of their house. If the tree was dead and was a known nuisance, then there is some debate.
